Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Kolhapur (Diploma Engineering) is started in the year 2000, under the mentorship of Hon’ble Dr. Patangraoji Kadam with a view of imparting quality technical education to the students from rural area. The Institute is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai and is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.
The Institute offers the student centric education. It includes academic activities and co-curricular activities. We have been catering the farsighted vision of the founder i.e. “Social Transformation through Dynamic Education.” We have upgraded our infrastructure, faculty, equipment, teaching learning process and attitude to meet needs and expectations of industry and society at large. The Institute provides a conducive learning environment for students to enhance their creative skills, utilize their potential in becoming competent engineer.

The College has developed excellent, infrastructural facilities with well equipped laboratories and an enriched library, which are updated regularly.
We realize that we have to transform Xth class student into professional engineer within the period of three years. All efforts are pooled in to develop leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, creativity, human skills along with strong values and morals. We want our students to be committed dedicated to their goals along with integrity and concern for the environment and rural society they live in.
We believe in total personality development through individual student counseling and guidance. We have continuous integration with industry through training and various projects.We are constantly innovating and never standing still.
